| Requirements and Responsibilities For Annuities Customer Service Representative |
| Provides customer service support for annuity policyholders by responding to inquiries related to account activity, policy features, transactions, and service requests. Assists customers with processing beneficiary updates, withdrawals, premium payments, and contract changes in accordance with company procedures. Explains annuity product terms, tax considerations, and administrative processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Resolves customer concerns promptly and escalates complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary. Maintains accurate records of customer interactions and ensures the confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Supports operational efficiency by meeting service level expectations and quality standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
