Requirements and Responsibilities For Civil Engineering Technician II
Assists the engineers in the planning of construction projects such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, railroads, and roads. Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates. Estimates work load to establish completion dates. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
